The IPS POD system means that the counter rotating props face forward and the PODS rotate to increase the performance and manoeuverability when docking. This also means that there are no shafts, rudders, intakes or exhuasts to maintain. Since the exhuast is underwater those who get queasy will have no issues with sea sickness and those who wash the boat never have to wash soot off the transom.
The control while docking is through a joystick and allows the operator to move the boat sideways or any direction desired in tight or demanding conditions.
